Drag and drop

There’s a moment, a bit after the elation of receiving a publishing acceptance. It happens after the joy of a piece being released into the world. It’s the time I go tidy up some files, and move the piece from its home folder to the Published Folder. Yeah, I know. It’s a quiet source of simple satisfaction.

My latest news is I’ve had to move a poem recently. It was a relatively new work, written last year and edited a few times since. It was accepted last week and published a couple of days ago. I quite like it for the little thing it is. If you would like to read it, please visit my poem at Trouvaille Review.

This is the third piece of mine published this year. Here are the statistics for everything else:

  • Rejections: 16
  • Pending acceptances/rejections: 21 (including works submitted last year)
