Swiftly published, slowly writing

Two new poems have been published, with many thanks to Arteidolia’s Swifts & Slows. The pieces are called There are poems like and Fade / Out and both are new this year. You can find my work in Swifts & Slows – a quarterly of crisscrossings, under the sub heading Bending like light. If you do visit them, thank you very much.

I’m working on a couple of little pieces, and I don’t know yet whether they’ll be poems or short fiction. I suspect, however, that at times, these works will be both poems and flash fiction, depending upon where I eventually send them. I also happened on an old document when searching for something to post on my blog, but instead I found the bare bones of a poem, which was last updated in 2004. Anyway, I think I’ve finished this old poem, but I will let it rest again and go back and take another look. I won’t leave it quite as long though this time. Maybe a week, instead of, um, 18 years. Oops.

Steady as she goes, the 2022 writing update:
