Wordle poem #2

For today’s Wordle Poem I have used recent answers from Wordle, which are, Gloat, Input, Loser, Cacao, Blown, and Apron, in no particular order. Enjoy.

Slice

Dirty apron, hands clean,
red-faced from heat blown
from the oven door, which
chases the chill from the kitchen.
The cake is baked, soon it will be iced,
decorated, refrigerated. Celebrated.
Cacao dust drifts and settles, the
ghost of flavour upon my lips.
There is no winner takes all, nor
any loser. No need for review, input,
No call to gloat. Just a cake.
Therefore stay. There is enough.
Wait. Take a slice.
